Reading Room
Located adjacent to magazines and newspapers, the reading room includes tables and casual soft seating and overlooks the outdoor plaza.
Storytelling Circle
The Storytelling Circle facilitates oral storytelling and sharing of Indigenous teachings and histories. It is a circular room with benches and movable seating, ventilated so it can be used for ceremonies and has a skylight overhead connecting the space to the natural world.
Auditorium
Beautiful wood screens and curved walls will welcome guests in this unique and striking space. With excellent views of the stage from every seat, the auditorium is fully accessible and has audio assistance for people with hearing disabilities.
Local History
Research spaces surround the area with a centrally located service point. In the new central library, our local history storage collection has a separate fire system and does not contain any windows, providing maximum protection for valuable items.
